SUPPLIER INPLUMBINGFITTINGS
H
OLMAN Industries recently
celebrated 50 years of
operation and success as
a family owned Australian company.
HOLMAN started manufacturing
electronics in 1966 but 25 years ago
turned its focus to the irrigation,
landscape and plumbing industries
under the guidance of new managing
director Wally Edwards.
The family owned company is now
a proud leading supplier of watering
products and plumbing fittings in
Australia. The key product groups
of the company are PVC pipe, DWV,
stormwater and pressure fittings,
Bluetooth irrigation and garden lighting
products. The HOLMAN product range
will be expanding even further in the
next few years and the company has
already seen an impressive 40% growth
during the past two years.
With an established market share
in Australia, HOLMAN is expanding its
international distribution network,
already heavily exporting to the USA
and Europe. With large distribution
warehouses in Brisbane and Melbourne,
alongside an exclusive plumbing
warehouse in Sydney, HOLMAN has
the capacity to supply national and
international customers and allow for
continual annual growth of its customer
base in Australia and overseas.
Growth and innovation have always
been a focal point of the company. In
2016 Holman took the opportunity to
acquire Fabfit, an already successful
Australian plumbing and electrical
moulded and fabricated fittings
manufacturer. The acquisition saw an
expansion of the available HOLMAN
plumbing fitting range. HOLMAN now
offers DWV fittings, stormwater fittings,
PVC pressure fittings, poly compression
fittings and poly threaded fittings to its
national and international customers.
With a high industry standard for
residential and commercially available
plumbing fitting products, HOLMAN
continues to grow its large plumbing
fittings range by investing in tooling,
research and product development, and
innovation into its Australian business.
A dedicated research and development
department, and a design team are
located in Perth and all fabricated
fittings are manufactured locally in
Queensland, Australia.
All HOLMAN products are certified
by ApprovalMark International, an
Australian based Certification Body
accredited by JAS-ANZ, who provide
certification to all HOLMAN plumbing
products in accordance with Watermark
Level 2 (High Risk) and Watermark
Level 2 (Low Risk). This provides
assurance and confidence that HOLMAN
only supplies products which comply
with Australian Standards, and are
manufactured to the highest quality.
All Holman PVC fittings comply with
Best Environmental Practice (BEP)
requirements.
HOLMAN currently employs more
than 200 employees around Australia,
and has recently moved into a new
purpose built Head Office in Perth.
This is also the location of four new
warehouses that supply the national
leg of the HOLMAN distribution network
and a heavily involved customer service
department. The HOLMAN customer
service team offer the highest level
of product knowledge and additional
dedicated back office support and
analytics to customers all year round.
Ensuring positive experiences with
the HOLMAN brand and product
range is paramount to the company
and employees work closely with
their customers to understand their
customers’ market demands and
requirements. Product development
and innovation are constantly evolving
to meet changing market expectations
and ensure success and growth for
HOLMAN customers.
Already seeing success as a national industry leader in gardening and irrigation,
