Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has announced an expansion of its product range with the introduction of the Huski SV-E Skytower range of compact, self-propelled scissor-lift work platforms.

TMHA launched the five new scissor lift models at the Hire18 show, which was held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 30-31 May.

The Huski SV-E Skytower range consists of easy to use, compact, wheel-type scissor-lift work platforms that have a maximum working height of 9.68m and a maximum load capacity of 450kg. They also feature a sliding extension deck, AC driver motor, joy-stick type upper control steering switch and a lower control panel on the chassis.

“With Huski scissor lifts and Bravi, we can now offer work platforms for the full range of applications,” says TMHA general manager of corporate compliance and project development Bob Walmsley.

“Backing these new work platforms will be TMHA’s full product-support capability, with our nation-wide branch network, huge fleet of mobile service vans and the best-trained service technicians in the material-handling industry.”

The lifts have both indoor and outdoor ratings (except SVO8E1NL) for worksites, including building fit-out, maintenance and painting. They also have a lower overall height than the previous model, increase accessibility and package efficiency.

The battery for these electrically powered platforms is maintenance free and does not require refilling of the water.
