Hipages and Bunnings launch a national installation service

Hipages has announced a national partnership with Bunnings to deliver a new installation service for Australians via hipage’s network of licensed tradespeople.

Making access to licensed tradies easier and offering customers a solution for installing a toilet suite at a fixed-price, the service is now available at all Bunnings stores around the country.

The announcement follows a successful trial in Bunnings stores across the Newcastle and Central Coast region earlier in the year.

“This is an exciting offer for Bunnings customers and local tradies across Australia, making it easier and more affordable for customers to update their bathroom and connect with local tradies to assist with those jobs that require a licensed tradesperson,” says Bunnings managing director Michael Schneider.

Those wanting to access the service simply add a hipages toilet installation voucher at the checkout when purchasing a toilet at a Bunnings Warehouse store. A time is then organised, either online or via a self-serve kiosk desk, with a hipages plumber to install the toilet and dispose of the old unit.

Hipages collaborates with over 4,000 plumbers nationwide who go through a vetting process on sign up, including license and ABN checks.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Bunnings, to help more Australians experience the benefit and ease of being able to instantly book a qualified, local tradie online,” says hipages co-founder, chief executive and executive director David Vitek.

“Bunnings customers simply purchase the installation in-store with their toilet suite, then follow a simple process to connect with a hipages tradie.”

Interested tradespeople can apply to join the Bunnings Tradie Installation Program here.
