WPR offered a study tour prize for one lucky respondent. We are pleased to announce that the winner is Janette Aggasid from Los Angeles, California. Janette was very excited to learn that her name had been drawn.

The prize of a week in Sydney, Australia, is something this plumbing engineer is looking forward to. And not having visited Australia previously, will add to the experience.

Janette originally earned a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Mindanao in the Philippines before studying Plumbing System and Design at the University of California.

Having been in the US now for four years, Janette is deeply involved in her job at Arup (a multi-disciplined engineering consultancy) in Los Angeles, where she is working in design, calculations and CAD.

To advance her professional development Janette makes the most of opportunities to attend industry/technical seminars as well as being an active member of her local ASPE chapter.

As a young plumbing engineer Janette is excited by the prospects of the sector, due to the growing demand for industry skills and the increasing importance of water management on a global scale.

We have some interesting technical visits planned for Janette’s visit to Australia.
