SharkBite has launched SharkBite Max, its next-generation push-to-connect plumbing system. Designed for professional plumbers, the system builds on the performance of the original SharkBite fittings, delivering increased strength, faster installation and improved reliability in demanding applications.

SharkBite Max introduces several design improvements to enhance durability and performance. These include double the burst pressure of its predecessor, a liner-free design and reinforced stainless steel grab ring technology, providing secure connections across a range of installations.

SharkBite Max is certified to AS/NZS 2537 and AS/NZS 4020 and is rated to 2,000kPa on copper systems at temperatures up to 95°C. This makes it suitable for use in underground, behind-wall and wet-line applications, where reliability and compliance are critical.

The push-to-connect design eliminates the need for specialised tools, enabling faster installation and reducing labour time on site. This streamlined approach is intended to help plumbers improve efficiency while maintaining confidence in connection integrity.
