Seeley International announces national roadshow to encourage net-zero industry future
Air conditioning manufacturer Seeley International has announced plans to bring together leading experts for a national roadshow that will focus on a zero emissions future and the broader implications for the HVAC industry.
The series – Sustainable Buildings: Preparing for a Zero Emissions Future & Implications for HVAC – provides an opportunity for those working in the industry to discuss customer challenges and requirements with sustainability experts and HVAC engineers, according to Seeley International group managing director Jon Seeley.
“There can be no doubt that the HVAC industry is going through a period of rapid change, and it is more critical than ever to understand the significant opportunities that are on the horizon by hearing experts outline their thoughts on looming changes in the built environment and trends that are expected to impact on our industry’s future,” Jon said.
“With heating, ventilation and air conditioning found in virtually every contemporary Australian building, HVAC&R now accounts for approximately 40% of total building energy consumption, 70% of base building consumption and represents more than 11% of all Australian emissions. That is why it is critical for the industry to be able to confidently work with customers to develop energy-efficient solutions which achieve a win for their bottom line and ultimately a win for the environment,” he said.
Registration for each of the free 90 minute events is available at hvaccurve.seeleyinternational.com. Bookings can be secured on a ‘first in’ basis and strictly close 10 days prior to each event, unless fully booked beforehand. All events are set to start at 5.30pm, with presentations commencing from 6pm followed by networking over drinks and canapes.
