The popular trade-only plumbing supply business Plumbers Choice continues to grow at a better than industry rate, trending with like many other online retail services from various industries. This growth has recently necessitated a move to a much larger service facility (6,000m2.) in the Melbourne eastern suburb of Bayswater.

Plumbers Choice was founded on a unique business model with a single bricks and mortar service centre that engages with a five-figure number of trade account customers Australia-wide, many via online ordering.

The business has no plan to sell bulky plumbing goods such as pipe or hot water services and remains chiefly focused on easy to deliver items like hand tools, fastenings, brassware, valves and consumables, that can be phone/fax or email ordered, then delivered overnight to plumbers nationally.

Though the new facility is chiefly devoted to the online/call centre servicing of customers, the company has added a new ‘plumbers-playground’ where tradies can drop-in and try out hand and electric power tools before purchase. Among the tool brands offered are Plumtool, Plumtest and Ridgid.
