The Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) has announced the date for its annual World Plumbing day event.

PICAC will be hosting the event on Friday 9 March 2018 at PICAC Brunswick. Activities scheduled on the day will include an industry forum, a trade expo and industry luncheon and an apprentice skills contest.

Speakers at the Industry Forum will focus on issues that currently impact the plumbing industry, international plumbing experiences and an update on PICAC’s activities over the last year.

The annual Plumbing and Sprinkler Fitting Apprentice Skills Contest is open to 3rd and 4th year apprentices, and finalists will have the opportunity to be selected to compete in the United Association International Apprentice Skills Contest held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA in August.

The trade expo will allow attendees to interact with the latest technologies and products available on the market. Companies including Hutchinson Builders, GeoExchange Australia, Incolink, Energy Safe Victoria, Victorian Building Authority, IAPMO, Cbus Super, Reece, Norman Disney & Young, Gangi Electrics, Stannards, Avac Australia, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Standards Australia, Commerce Press, National Fire Industry Association, Victaulic, Master Plumbers, Rheem, Rinnai, Asta Solutions, Lincoln Electric, Billi and FMSA Architecture will showcase their products and services for the industry.
