Philmac working dogs
Australian pipe fittings manufacturer Philmac has announced a nationwide talent search for the country’s most impressive working dogs.
Philmac is looking for Blue Heelers to be the new face of its brand ambassador Bluey after the popular dog announced his retirement.
“We’re looking for the next Bluey – a dog that represents our brand values of trust, reliability and hardwork. The job involves just three days of photography but comes with a very competitive package, including a year’s supply of dog food and gift vouchers totalling more than $4,000 in value. Ideally, the next Bluey will be well trained, able to follow instructions and photographer friendly,” says Philmac managing director Mark Nykiel.
Philmac is also looking for working dogs of any breed to feature in its 2018 Philmac Australian Working Dog Calendar.
“To be considered for the calendar we’re asking for owners to submit their best pictures of their working dog at either work, rest or play,” says Mark.
“We’re hoping to hear from regional and farm dogs of a variety of breeds for their chance to be immortalised on the calendar.”
Successful applicants for the 2018 Philmac Australian Working Dog Calendar will receive a year’s worth of dog food and a $500 RM Williams voucher.
Nominations are now open and close on 1 October for both the Bluey ambassador and the Working Dog Calendar recruitment campaigns.
