MEGT remains the preferred provider for the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network
MEGT, the Australian non-profit organisation supporting employers, apprentices, trainees, job seekers and students has announced that it will retain its status as the preferred provider for the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN).
As part of a new AASN contract due to launch on 1 February 2020, MEGT will remain the largest and only national apprentice network provider across all six states.
MEGT will help achieve the AASN’s goal of increasing apprenticeship and traineeship completion rates by expanding its gateway in-training services as well as implementing a new and innovative service delivery approach to their apprenticeship support service delivery.
“We are improving the support network to help get even more apprentices enrolled and trained up for rewarding careers and to help meet employers’ skills needs,” Australian minister for employment, Michaelia Cash says.
The expansion and refinement of these service offerings enables MEGT to continue to support employers, apprentices and trainees throughout the apprenticeship or traineeship life cycle.
“MEGT is proud to again be named a preferred provider of the AASN,” MEGT acting chief executive Bridie Gildea says.
“We are pleased to be continuing to provide services across all six states nationally.”
