ISH, the global trade fair for the water and HVAC industries, has selected 34 nominees from over 160 submissions for its Designplus Award.

The categories are water & efficiency, HVAC & sustainability, smart & control, design & innovation, young innovators and sustainable exhibition stand.

VDS managing director and jury member Jens Wischmann says that there was an overwhelming number of submissions and expects ISH 205 to be highly successful.

“This is an impressive demonstration of how broadly based the HVAC industry is,” he says.

“It is particularly pleasing that we are seeing not only excellent design, but also highly innovative, solution-oriented products that represent a real improvement.”

The independent jury evaluated the submissions according to the highest quality standards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, degree of innovation as well as functional and aesthetic aspects.

The nominees will be presented in an exclusive special exhibition in the foyer of Hall 5.1 and the winners will be announced on the first day of the fair.
