Hydroflow launches new gas sleeve support
Hydroflow has launched Gas Stump, a new gas sleeve support for meter connections.
Gas Stump aims to remove the need for mechanical joints in the cavity and provides a strong base to strengthen and stabilise the meter.
Currently only suited for PEX crimped gas pipe systems, other features of the Gas Stump include:
- UV protection for PEX pipe and for fire zone areas
- Allowing the use of PEX gas system right through to the meter
- Supporting gas safety regulations in relation to mechanical joints in the wall
