Galvin Engineering launches immersive experience centre
Galvin Engineering has launched an immersive experience centre, a purpose-built interactive space designed to showcase innovative bathroom solutions tailored for aged care, healthcare, mental health and childcare environments.
The centre features an immersive simulation environment where visitors can experience the world through the eyes of those living with impairment.
The experience centre provides architects, designers, facility managers, caregivers and other industry professionals the opportunity to see and feel how thoughtful, inclusive design enhances accessibility, safety and dignity.
The centre has staged settings tailored towards high-care and high-risk environments and using the centre’s specialised aging suits, vision-impaired glasses and props, participants can better gauge how design decisions directly impact everyday life in care settings.
Galvin Engineering fourth generation owner says that safety and aesthetics need to work together harmoniously.
“The experience centre is more than a product showroom, it is a platform to challenge convention and demonstrate how high-risk and high-care environments can be functional, beautiful and dignified,” he says.
“Our mission is to create water solutions for a healthier environment, and that begins with design that empowers.”
The Galvin Engineering Experience Centre is now open to visitors and available by appointment.
