Aqua Joy Molly Bath Lift
An internationally proven aid to the independence and safety of people with difficulty accessing their baths is being introduced to Australia by Aqua Joy Bath Lift.
The quality hand-built and stylish Molly Bath Lift is helping young and older people globally who may be affected by injury, age or disability – or who simply cannot enjoy the pleasure of a bath without a carer to assist them to get in and out.
The British-made Molly Bath lift – comprised of a sturdy, height-adjustable seating pedestal, wide comfortable and secure seating and belt-driven by motor attached to special bracket on the wall – has an outstanding advantage over some other types of bath lift in that it lowers users completely on the bottom of the bath.
Users effortlessly transfer from the pedestal to luxurious slip cushion while supported by the safety grab rail and automatic reclining seat, which are supplied as part of the product. The unit installs simply without specialist tools.
Its battery power unit is strong enough for about 20 lifts before it needs simple recharging by plugging into the wall. The safety-engineered hand control will not let users lower themselves unless there is enough power to return them to the top.
“This is a very safe, attractive and cost-effective alternative to major bathroom renovations that some people may not be able to afford. It is equally useful to children and adults and older people with disability – or maybe just people with sports or occupation injuries accumulated over the years,” says Aqua Joy Director James Lloyd.
“It also helps protect parental and professional carers, who don’t have to risk back strain getting children or adults into and out of a bath. Besides restoring greater independence and the simple enjoyment of a good warm soak, the Molly Bath Lift is deliberately designed with a stylish, non-institutional finish.”
