Aalberts IPS has introduced the Apollo PowerPress LD, expanding their large diameter piping systems range.

It is available in large diameters of 2 1/2″, 3″ and 4″ and caters to broader applications and offers enhanced flexibility for large-scale projects.

Key features of the Apollo PowerPress include HNBR and EPDM sealing elements, enhanced with zinc-nickel coatings to deliver superior corrosion resistance and reliable, long-lasting seals. Thes elements are well suited for plumbing applications such as general water distribution, hydronic heating and cooling and process and utility water systems commonly found in commercial and multi-family residential projects.

The system incorporates Leak Befre Press technology, preventing unpressed connections form holding pressure, enhancing installation integrity and safety. For smaller Apollo PowerPress sizes, a colour-coded Visual Control Ring (VCR) is featured with tabs that break away to provide quick visual identification of completed connections.

The longer sizes include the colour-coded Visu-Control foil, which splits for easy removal after press completion. This ensures that unpressed connections are easily identifiable prior to system pressurisation.

The Apollo PowerPress system is compatible with Ridgid and Milwaukee Press Tools.
