The latest inline press tool design comes from RIDGID, in the form of the RP 241. Smaller and lighter than recent versions, the RP 241 weighs 2.5kgs and is a more refined design that physically aligns with smaller spaces.

The RP 241 includes a 12V lithium-ion battery that enables approximately 140 crimps per charge. It connects 15-32mm copper and 16-40mm PEX and has Bluetooth connectivity. Being equipped with Bluetooth enables the press tool connectivity through the free RIDGID link app and can be linked via smartphone and tablet. This allows access to information about daily press cycles, tool status, battery durability and cycle count.
