Hansgrohe Group Germany’s top company
The International Forum Design (iF) ranked Hansgrohe Group as the sixth best company in the world for 2017. The taps and shower experts, which is based in Schiltach, Germany, eclipsed its 2016 company design ranking points with 1,040 and surpassed its German counterpart Audi as the country’s best organisation. To further complement its hard work and devotion to excellence, it also out-ranked other juggernauts such as Apple, BMW and Siemens and lengthened its lead over other sanitation companies within the industry.
The Hansgrohe Group is often a frequent winner at the prestigious iF Awards and in 2017 it was no different with eight products given awards and the sole reason for their push into sixth place. The fact that 5,575 products from 59 countries were placed in front of 58 expert judges makes it extremely competitive but despite this, the AXOR Uno taps managed the incredible feat of winning a Gold Award. Jan Heisterhagen, Vice President Product Manager for Hansgrohe SE said that the awards were representative of the company’s ongoing yearn for high quality production.
“These nine iF DESIGN awards, including the Gold Award, clearly confirm our ongoing commitment to combining the aesthetic design of a product with quality, ease of use and high customer benefit,” Jan said.
These awards are a true testament to the Hansgrohe Group’s attitude towards its work and towards the industry as a whole. Since it first begun production, the Black Forest based company was always cutting edge with its designs by producing the popular Sixty shower set and then winning its first design award in 1964 for the Tribel; the first three spray-mode hand held shower. Today, the company has won over 500 design awards and continues to establish itself as one of the best.
