Axor Colour Range
At Axor Manufaktur, Hansgrohe’s specialist colourisation department in Germany, artisanry is complemented with state-of-the-art technology. In-house PVD chambers are used to apply coatings of custom metal finishes to the taps. PVD technology, which stands for “Physical Vapor Deposition Technology”, involves the use of noble gases under laboratory conditions; they are “ignited” to produce a vapour which then coats the objects with a custom finish. The resulting surfaces are highly resistant against scratches, cleaning agents and harsh environments including outdoor, pool-side and seaside areas. Perfect for commercial, hospitality and high use areas giving long-lasting brilliance for over 15-20 years in public areas.
The Inclination towards Gold Continues
Worldwide the Gold-optic finish accounts for the bulk of the special surface finish requests. In Australia & New Zealand the flavours are brushed black chrome, red gold, nickel, bronze and brass finishes. Bi-color finishes, where a touch of gold augments the tap’s chrome finish, are also very popular. The Axor Manufaktur currently offers a standard range of fifteen different brushed and polished finishes; additional colours possible when requested. The application of special lettering, logos or coats of arms to taps, shower heads and accessories by means of laser technology, is also a part of everyday operations for the small team in Schiltach, Germany. Modifications of this kind enhance every bathroom, giving it a personal note with a high qualitative standard.
Kitchen Mixer Solutions for Everyone
The Axor range of kitchen mixers offers both amateur and professional chefs a multitude of possibilities for designing their individual kitchen sink environment – depending on how they choose to work with water. Those preferring the classic version of a single-lever mixer with characteristic joystick operation can opt for the Axor Starck range of kitchen mixers. These models allow the main body to be positioned in such way that the joystick lever extends to the left or right of the spout. Left-handed or right-handed users can implement their preferred solution at the time the mixer is installed.
The freedom of controlling the water flow with a separate lever is provided by the 2-hole mixers from the Axor Citterio M kitchen range: here the lever can be positioned wherever the user finds it practical, as well as aesthetically pleasing. If there is not enough room on the kitchen sink for a miAxer, or if a clear, uncluttered space is preferred, then the wall-mounted Axor Uno² is the kitchen mixer of choice. Here, too, the joystick lever can be installed to the right or the left of the spout.
The Axor kitchen ranges are available in fifteen particularly scratch and detergent-resistant PVD finishes – including chrome, gold-optic, red-gold, black-chrome, nickel, brass, stainless steel optic, and bronze.
