ActronAir has appointed Norman Windell as its new managing director with effect from September 2014. Norman is based at ActronAir’s head office in the Sydney suburb of Bella Vista, New South Wales.

Norman has some 18 years of board level CEO/MD experience with manufacturing organisations in Australia and a number of different Asia Pacific countries including New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

He has a varied industry background and came to ActronAir from Preformed Line Products, a multi-national manufacturing company operating in the energy and telecommunications industries where he was able to achieve significant business growth both intrinsically and through acquisitions.

“Norman’s appointment comes during an exciting period of growth at ActronAir and is aimed at strengthening the implementation of ActronAir’s strategic plans,” says Robert Mundy, executive director of ActronAir.

“The air conditioning industry offers a number of exciting growth opportunities and I look forward to leading ActronAir’s efforts to expand further off their existing strong and stable business platform including their innovative energy efficient products that they have built up over the last 30 years” commented Norman

Norman also holds a non-executive director role assisting the not-for-profit Asia Business Connection, an organisation that promotes business between Australia and Asia.
