Repair pipes with no excavation
Nuflow offers comprehensive pipe repair and pipe relining solutions across Australia. Whether you need to fix a blocked drain or are looking for a pipe relining service, our experienced technicians are ready to assist you.
Our Blueline and Redline technologies are able to repair leaking sewerage pipes, leaking stormwater pipes and leaking water pipes without excavating any surfaces, providing minimal damage and high quality service. Our draining solutions are effective in drainage repair tasks and unblocking drains.
Our Blueline system is designed to repair pipes below a surface you don’t want to demolish. This easily takes care of stormwater drainage pipes, blocked drains and blocked sewage pipes without the hassle of pipe excavation. This technology provides fast, efficient service that you can rely on. Blueline can be installed in sections of piping as required and completely restores structural integrity. All makes of pipes can be sealed including PVC, earthenware or clay, asbestos, galvanised steel, cast iron, copper, concrete, or high density polyethylene (HDPE).
Blueline is a CIPP (cure in place pipe) system that is installed by the pull in place method. We make our Liner out of a needle woven polyester fabric, which is customised at the Nuflow manufacturing facilities on the Gold Coast. We can produce any required length, thickness, or diameter ranging from 40mm to 1000mm.
We impregnate our liner with a highly specialised two part Epoxy. It is the liner which adds the strength, and the resin which is required for other factors such as chemical resistance. We then take a bladder, which can be made to any size or length, and we insert this through the impregnated liner. This entire package is then pulled into a pre-arranged position in the pipe using our CCTV equipment. The Bladder is then inflated to a predetermined pressure and left for the resin to set.
For pipe lining restoration our Redline technology coats the inner part of your galvanized or copper pipe to prevent future leaks and corrosion occurring. Our technology also prevents contaminates leaching into water supplies. Unlike conventional repair options that can cause complete facility or site closure, this process can be managed to ensure minimum disruption to business operations or homes. Redline is shot down the pipeline leaving a barrier between the host pipe and the water or gas or whatever product flows through it. As a repair it is a major cost saving – as a preventative it is invaluable. Redline is approved to reline potable water pipes under Australian Standard AS 4020.
Pipes with a nominal bore reduced to as little as 20 per cent, can be cleaned back out to nearly its full potential, then coated to reinstate its integrity, extending the life of your asset exponentially.
Once the cause of your pressure pipe problem is identified and then blasted with garnet until the pipe is clear of any corrosion. Once this has been completed, epoxy is blown into cleaned pipes, forming a safe, evenly coated permanent barrier between pipe walls and the product in the pipe.
Nuflow has invested ten years Research and Development in the areas of product range, services and capabilities. This has resulted in our liners now having the ability to handle AVGAS, JET FUEL, HIGH Temperatures (140 degrees Celsius), 100% Sulphuric Acid and Potable Water with AS 4020 approval.
Key advantages of Nuflow’s non-invasive pipe rehabilitation:
• Existing pipes in extremely poor condition can be cleaned out to its original state then relined to reinstate its structural integrity, extending the life of the asset
• Any type of sewerage or stormwater pipe in diameters from 40 to 1000mm
• The repair process can be stopped and started anywhere in the drain line, this means entire pipes no longer have to be relined
• The seamless liner prevents infiltration and exfiltration, restores structural integrity and eliminates joints that can weaken and allow root intrusion and ground water penetration.
Environmental benefits:
• Revolutionary, green technologies such as epoxy lining have replaced temporary, out-dated pipe replacement methods as an eco-friendly trend that efficiently and economically controls pollution.
• The traditional method of excavate and replace has multiple effects on the surrounding environment. The use of heavy construction equipment results in a higher noise level in the vicinity of the work area.
• Current research shows that CO2 emissions are reduced when trenchless methods are used versus open-cut. This translates to a direct-cost benefit for companies that are facing carbon taxation.
