Pressalit and DKJO launch world-first dementia-friendly toilet seat
Pressalit, in collaboration with Australian distributor DKJO, has developed a world-first toilet seat designed specifically to assist people living with dementia.
The seat is available in a variety of shapes and select colours, making it compatible with many existing toilets in aged care facilities and private homes.
Unique features include a matte-finish lid, a two-tone colour effect and a soft-close mechanism, all intended to support users with dementia during daily toilet use. This innovation aims to improve independence, safety and comfort for people living with cognitive challenges.
