Mastering HVAC Excellence is a bi-monthly webinar series that gives insights into the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC).

A webinar on gas piping will take place on 21 March from 1:00pm – 2:30pm with Austin Jones as the instructor. This is suited for professionals working with gas piping systems that determine pipe sizes using methods and equations outlines in Code Section 1315.0 Required Gas Piping Size.

Austin will also instruct a webinar on combustion air, venting systems and gas piping sizing essentials. Part one will be on 16 May from 1:00pm – 2:30pm and part two will be on 18 July from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.

This goes into the regulations and calculations that govern safe and effective combustion air requirements, venting systems and gas piping in buildings. All participants will understand the key considerations when installing, maintaining and inspecting fuel-burning appliances and related systems.
