ARBS 2016, Australia’s only international air conditioning, refrigeration and building services trade exhibition will be the largest ARBS event yet with over 300 exhibitors now confirmed. The countdown is on with only weeks until the exhibition opening. It’s a great time to get organised by going online to register for entry and download the dedicated show app.

Don’t forget to pre-book a seat at the leading-edge seminar program with 17 sessions to choose from featuring a range of high profile and respected individuals discussing topics of importance to the industry. This bumper line up of seminars will see some outstanding sessions including a panel discussion by Romilly Madew, Tony Armstrong and Mark McKenna and moderated by Tony Arnel on the WELL Building Standard which will explore opportunities and obstacles to its take-up in Australia. Another panel discussion on Digital Disruption is proving popular, it will explore the impact of big data on our industry and outline the technology that’s improving performance for tenants.

Other seminars filling fast are the discussion on HFC phase-down in Australia which will provide an update of the progress towards a global HFC phase down agreement through the Montreal Protocol. The Innovation in FM panel will discuss emerging areas of innovation in FM including building information modelling (BIM), energy management, FM outsourcing in the new world and asset lifecycle planning.  And the very aptly named How Good Projects Go Wrong will look at ways to reduce risk with effective commissioning processes.

ARBS Chairman Ian Hopkins says, ‘I am personally looking forward to what I am sure will be a bumper exhibition with a wonderful supporting program of seminars and events – ensure you join me and your many industry colleagues at ARBS 2016!’

ARBS 2016 will be held from 17-19 May 2016 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Quick and easy registration is available online which grants free entry into the exhibition across all three days – visit www.arbs.com.au.
