Peugeot Australia has given its Expert medium van a mid-life refresh for the 2025 model year, with the range being streamlined by the elimination of all manual-transmission variants as well as the entry-grade Expert City.

Now available exclusively with an automatic transmission, the 2025 Peugeot Expert range opens at $48,990 for the Expert Pro short wheelbase (a $1,000 increase over the pre-facelift van) and tops out at $54,490 for the Expert Premium long wheelbase. All variants take power from a 110kW, 370Nm turbo diesel inline four, with drive sent to the front wheels and there are no major changes to the rest of the mechanical package. However, thanks to reinforcements to the suspension hardware, the 2025 Expert gets a 70kg increase in maximum payload rating, with the SWB and LWB now able to carry 1,350kg and 1,325kg, respectively.

The facelift brings a new front bumper design (which adds 24mm to the Expert’s overall length), new headlamp clusters and a completely new dashboard design that integrates more upper-dash storage compartments as well as a 10” instrument panel and 10” infotainment touchscreen. The gear selector also morphs into a more compact toggle switch that eliminates intrusion into knee room, while wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto replace the wired smartphone mirroring systems of the pre-update model.

Drivers will also appreciate two new standard features: the heated driver’s seat, as well as a new always-on digital rear view mirror that can also display a lateral side view, aiding precision parking in loading zones and cargo docks.

All Peugeot Experts are covered by a five-year, 200,000km warranty, with maintenance covered either by capped price servicing on a per-service basis (totalling $3,877 for five years/100,000km), or a trio of pre-paid servicing plans that provide three, four, or five years of coverage for $1,295, $1,930 and $2,295 respectively.
