Tradelink announces KemPress will join its current press-fit offering

Tradelink has announced an expansion of its current product offering with the MM Kembla KemPress press-fit system.

The German engineered KemPress was first released by Australian copper tube manufacturer and distributor MM Kembla in 2012, and will be available in all Tradelink stores on 1 June 2018.

“The addition of the KemPress press-fit system as part of our Back of Wall range of products is part of our continued commitment to improving our offering to our customers. Our customers will now be spoilt for choice when it comes to press-fit systems with Tradelink now ranging two of Australia’s leading press brands in KemPress and Viega,” says Tradelink general manager of merchandise Steve Lewis.

The KemPress copper press-fit system has fittings specifically designed to be compatible with all leading press tools in the Australian market so customers will not have to re-invest in new tools.

“We are conscious of the fact many of our customers have press tools already, due to its compatibility with leading press tools such as Viega, our customers do not need to fork out for new tools to use KemPress,” says Steve.

KemPress’ ‘push & stay’ feature means all fittings up to DN50 size are tight enough to complete rough-in before pressing, minimising the risk of a fitting slipping prior to pressing and helping the plumber ensure correct tube placement and design.

“Kembla Copper Tube is renowned for being of the highest quality and is manufactured to stringent tolerances to ensure it provides optimal performance when used with press-fittings. Our customers can now purchase a single brand tube and fittings solution that’s manufactured for optimal combined performance and supported by a local trusted 25-year warranty,” says Steve.

MM Kembla will continue to provide strong local technical support, design advice and product training. Steve says this means if a customer has a question, needs advice or product training, it can be provided by Tradelink via its branches or a Kembla representative can assist.
